    BLEATBOX is run by Sam, based in the United States. To get in touch, use the Contact page in the app. I read every message.

WHAT WE COLLECT

    Your takes. Recordings you submit are stored with their scores. Other players can play them on leaderboards, and some appear in the Hall of Fame.

    Your account. If you sign up, we store your email, display name, and avatar. With Google or Apple sign-in we receive your name and email from them. We never see your password.

    Playing as a guest. We store an anonymous player ID on your device to keep your scores and streak.

    Game activity. Scores, streaks, repeats, and reactions.

    Feedback. Your message, plus your app version, browser, and microphone name, to help fix problems.

    Anonymous usage. To improve the app, we count which screens and buttons are used, along with device type and app version. It's fully anonymous and never linked to your account or player ID.

YOUR MICROPHONE

    The mic is only used while you record. The live level meter runs on your device, and only takes you submit are uploaded. Bleat Battle takes stay on your device and are never saved.

HOW RECORDINGS ARE CHECKED

    Each take is sent to a speech-to-text service to bleep profanity and check you said the line. We keep only the result, not the transcript.

KIDS

    Kid profiles are created and managed by a parent's account. Their takes appear on leaderboards like any other player's. Parents can delete a kid profile and its takes at any time from the edit profile screen.

STORAGE ON YOUR DEVICE

    We use local storage, not advertising cookies, to keep you signed in, save your settings, and store your player ID.

THIRD PARTIES

    We rely on these services to run the game:
    1. a.Lovable: app hosting, AI services, and error reports
    2. b.Supabase: database, accounts, and file storage
    3. c.Google: speech-to-text, Google sign-in, and web fonts
    4. d.Apple: Sign in with Apple

    No ads, and no third-party analytics. We never sell your data.

SUPPORTING BLEATBOX

    If you chip in, Stripe processes the payment and collects your email and payment details under its own privacy policy. BLEATBOX doesn't receive or store your card details.

KEEPING AND DELETING DATA

    We keep your account data and takes until you delete them. You can delete your account, takes, and scores from the profile screen at any time, and deletion is immediate.
  2. 16
    Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your data. Deleting your account covers deletion on its own. For anything else, email us.
